Asthma

Approximately 10% of children and 5% of adults develop asthma[1]. Due to the wide range of different symptoms, diagnosis is often challenging. The patient interview is the basis for the correct diagnosis with additional pulmonary function tests to confirm the diagnosis. With the scientific findings of the last few years, more and more therapy options have been developed for asthmatics, most recently the so-called biologics- antibodies against asthma-typical inflammatory markers.
