Bio

As a senior physician at the Department of Pulmonology at the University Hospital of Vienna and head of the sleep laboratory, pulmonary function laboratory as well as the PH outpatient clinic, I offer you the entire knowledge in my private medical practice in Ebreichsdorf.

Through my medical training in Austria and abroad, I am experienced with diagnostic procedures, interventions and various forms of pulmonary therapy. Bronchoscopies, endobronchial ultrasound and right heart catheter examinations are regularly performed by me at the University Hospital of Vienna.

Research

I completed my scientific training with a PhD degree at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. My field of research focuses on the effects of cigarettes, e-cigarettes and nicotine on blood vessels and pulmonary function. Most recently it has shifted towards the effects of the SARS-CoV 2 – infection.
